8vo. 8.75 x 7.25 inches. 125 + [2] pp. Bound in half green cloth, with printed paper title label, over green patterned boards. Lower edge rough cut. Extremities worn at lower edges and corners, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 32 plates of mounted captioned sketches in sepia and colour, including frontispiece, and by pictorial title page. Decorated by publisher's device on verso of title and by colophon. A humorous look at 'the lighter side of the life of a Landscape Painter,' attractively illustrated by the author, Nan (Katherine Anne) West (b.1904), known for her mural work for a number of London institutions, notably that in The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
