8vo. 7.5 x 5 inches. vii + [i] + 632 pp. Bound in original maroon cloth, gilt, with contrasting black title label, gilt. A little wear to extremities, including corners and head and tail of spine, which is sunned, with adjoining front board edges. Light foxing of edges, extending slightly into margins, and of preliminaries; otherwise a very good copy. Signature on front pastedown. First edition of the omnibus volume by John Buchan, 1936. It contains the well known The Thirty-Nine Steps (1915), The Power House, a novel of 1916, and two early short story collections, The Watcher by the Threshold (1902) and The Moon Endureth (1912).
