A little wear to lower edges, but otherwise a very good clean copy. Illustrated by 12 colour plates and by black and white text figures. Decorated by publisher's device on title page. A volume in Collins's Britain in Pictures series published during the war between 1941 and 1945. It describes British politicians from the Tudor period. By Ernest Barker (1874-1960), political scientist and academic historian.
